That concludes another round of LBC selections and the Read This! Selection.  Thanks for stopping by and being part of the discussion of the four summer nominees.

Please plan on coming back on October 16 when we announce the Autumn 2006 Read This! Selection, and plan on visiting frequently that week and the three following as we take long looks at the next three LBC nominees.

Hello and thanks for stopping by the LBC.  We are less than two weeks away from Summer 2006 Read This! announcement on Monday, July 17.  The final selection will be drawn from this list of titles:

White Spirit by Paul Constante (translated by Betsy Wing) from the University of Nebraska Press

Skin by Kellie Wells from the University of Nebraska Press

Crawl Space by Edie Meidav from FSG

Once again, we will be spending a week apiece on all four of the titles through mid-August, bringing you discussions, interviews, podcasts and more.  We hope you'll join us.

We are also pleased to announce some changes over on the blogroll to the left.  As mentioned in an earlier post, we've seen Lizzie of Old Hag and Derik of MadInkBeard move on to Emeritus Member status.

We have added four new members to the fray, and wish to welcome each of them now:

Thaks for visiting the Litblog Co-op. While there are plenty of interesting posts below about past LBC Read This! selections and nominees, we will be relatively quiet around here until around July 17th, when we announce the Summer 2006 Read This! selection.

Remember, we've already announced the four nominees this time around, hoping we've given readers of this site enough time to pick up copies, read and come to their own conclusions about which should be the Read This! title.
